That is cool. What is it?

Predecessor to the Ranger I would assume? It looks too small to be an F-100 or something like that size.

Edit - Found it. Second generation Ford Courier ('71-'76)

I learned to drive in a Ford Courier when I was 12. My younger brother also tried to learn to drive the same truck. Unfortunately he failed to realize the importance of shifting at the appropriate time, or maybe he was addicted to the sound of a good backfire?

I also learned to drive in one of these. My dad promised me it when I turned sixteen but sold it out from under me on my birthday and bought me a 2wd Subaru GL hatchback. Even now 30 years later he STILL apologizes for selling my Courier. I WILL NEVER FORGIVE HIM. .....maybe.....

Oh gosh, I had an '86 2WD GL (non turbo) sedan right after college. Even with a 5 speed, that car could not get out of it's own way. Drove it for a year then gave it to my dad when I bought my '74 2002tii. He drove it for years before rust finally claimed it.
